Hi! I'm Mrs. Tappan,
I hold a degree in Elementary Education and bring nine years of classroom teaching experience, including four years in dual-language education. I’m passionate about nurturing the whole child—supporting not only academic growth but also emotional and social development.
At Coquí Kids Bilingual Preschool, my approach to bilingual education is grounded in the belief that early exposure to multiple languages offers lifelong benefits. In my online classroom, both languages are celebrated equally, and we create an inclusive, engaging environment where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to learn.

Our qualified teachers create content ensuring your child gets the benefits of traditional preschool, right at home.
How can online preschool be as effective as local preschool?
Online bilingual preschool can be just as effective as traditional in-person programs—when it's thoughtfully designed and developmentally appropriate. Our high-quality online program offer interactive lessons, live teacher instruction, and hands-on activities that mirror what children experience in a physical classroom. Incorporating movement, music, play-based learning, and class routines—crucial elements in early childhood education.
I'm super busy. Do I need to supervise my child?
Preschool Club is designed for busy parents in mind. You or your child can just click PLAY! It's user-friendly, and the activities are crafted to keep your little one engaged on their own. Plus, it gives you some free time, knowing they're in a safe, educational space.
Are the Preschool on Demand videos easy to access?
Yes. As long as you have an internet connection, you can access it anytime, anywhere, on any device.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes.
Do I need to buy supplies?
No. If you are enrolling on any of our live classes, the registration fee includes materials required for our online classes so you don't have to buy any additional supplies. This box will be mailed directly to your home.
What are your preschool curriculum foundations?
We use Fundamentals Preschool Curriculum and the foundations are the following:
PHILOSOPHIES: We believe that children learn through developing 3 key skills: Life Science Skills, Life Skills, and Pre-K Skills.
GOALS: We aim to help children become well-rounded members of society who feel confident with their place in the world.
DEVELOPMENT: We strive to build children’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language skills through practical, real-world, hands-on activities.
LIFE SCIENCE SKILLS: Each weekly life science theme, such as Vehicles, Astronomy, Baking, or Ocean, offers fun activities to expand children’s knowledge of the world so they can feel confident with their place in it.
LIFE SKILLS: Each day the children engage in a lesson with puppets or games, helping them practice vital life skills like Hygiene, Health, Sharing, Time and Safety.
PRE-K SKILLS: Each activity aims to teach children the critical Pre-K skills needed to succeed in school later on, such as learning to write, understanding simple math, and also knowing their letters, sounds, numbers, shapes and colors among other things.
What time are the Bilingual LIVE classes?
You can choose morning or afternoon classes. Classes are scheduled 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) from:
Preschool Club Live Eastern Time (30 minutes)
9:00-9:30 am
2:00-2:30 pm
Preschool Premium Members Eastern Time (60 min)
9:00-10:00 am
2:00- 3:00 pm
Upon registration, you will receive the Google Meet Link to join classes.
Can I enroll my child anytime during the school year?
Yes, we accept new students throughout the school year.
